Kelowna Accommodation
With your stay at one of Kelowna's excellent bed and breakfast accommodation, you'll find various activities to keep you busy.
Take in the scenery and then do a little sight seeing and shopping. Kelowna's bed and breakfast accommodations are in the heart of British Columbia's culture.
Finding Kelowna Accommodation - Inns
You can view our online Kelowna Bed and Breakfast accommodation listings or purchase
the Canadian Bed and Breakfast Guide, a printed directory of bed and breakfast accommodations across Canada, including
Canadian inns. It was established in 1982 by Gerda Pantel and is now produced by Marybeth and Jay Moyer,
Enjoying Niagara Inc. It is an ideal trip planner for travel in Canada. The Guide started as, and remains,
the only national printed guide to Bed and Breakfasts in Canada. Bed and Breakfast lodgings in the book are
listed with picture and extensive descriptions which includes information on: rooms, breakfasts, amenities,
things to do, price, means of payment, how to locate them, etc.
Selecting your Bed and Breakfast Accommodation
In choosing bed and breakfast accommodation it is recommended that you look at the descriptive details of the
bed and breakfasts in the area in which you will be staying. There will in most cases be a choice of options
that will cover the needs and value preferences of prospective bed and breakfast guests. It is best to book ahead
and while this can frequently be done by e-mail, calling by phone is not a bad option. It gives you a chance to
speak to the host, ask some questions that may not have been answered for you in the listing, and to get a feel
for the reception you can expect.

Kelowna - Sites and Neighbourhoods to Visit
Kelowna is the largest city in the Okanagan Valley boasting all the amenities of a major city - fine dining, unique shops and a vibrant cultural life - yet orchards and vineyards thrive within a 10-minute drive of the downtown core. Spectacular vistas await those ready to explore; a delightful day can be spent sampling the award-winning wares of our numerous internationally-acclaimed wineries, or you may wish to visit one of several championship golf courses in the area.
Situated on the eastern shore of Okanagan Lake mid-way between Penticton in the south and Vernon in the north, Kelowna residents and tourists alike find the lake offers wonderful opportunities for boating, swimming or fishing. The nearby mountains attract hikers, skiers and outdoor enthusiasts of all descriptions. There are three major ski hills within a one hour drive - Big White, Silver Star and Apex.
