The triple gabled Wingle Inn,made famous in a painting by A.J.Casson,one of Canada's Group of Seven,is a 140 year old stone farmhouse located in the beautiful Madawaska Valley. A small establishment,we offer bed and breakfast accommodations as well as evening meals featuring Italian cuisine fine dining in a rustic setting. The view is breathtaking and the serenity is palpable a little piece of heaven on earth. The Madawaska River in Palmer Rapids (50 km. north of Bancroft) has some of the best white-water kayaking and canoeing in the province. Take Hwy 28 to 514 past Schutt, turn right at Cedar Grove Rd,then left on Wingle Rd.
